8th May 2004 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 15-20knts, very gusty Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sailed from about 8:45 until 5:00. Went out on the 8.0 until the wind filled in then swapped to the 6.5. Blasting all the way to the harbour entrance and back. Great fun. Tried to race a Hypersonic - my god they shift! - so I went back to thrashing the dingies. Great day on the water, can't remember last time I sailed for that length of time. Just too gusty to take the little board out though. |
